Global Grant GG2577896 strengthening frontline health workers, health facilities, community awareness, and access to quality mental-health services.
Rotary Club of Ngora secured Global Grant GG2577896 - Mental Health Integration Project, valued at US$100,050, to strengthen mental-health services across Ngora District, Uganda.
With the Rotary Club of Denver Cherry Creek as International Partner and Fineminds as Implementation Partner, the project is officially underway, with health-worker training already commenced. The contribution requirement has been fulfilled and confirmation of funds has been received from international partners.

October 2026 Progress
Recent milestones from ongoing health, education, fundraising, and WASH initiatives across Ngora District.
Twenty counsellors and 139 CHEWs have been trained under Global Grant GG2577896, and more than 137 counselling sessions were held in August and September across 10 health facilities. Community radio talk shows start in November 2026.
Read Update →Indoor Residual Spraying has protected 150 of 200 targeted households in Kopege, Agu and Kees villages, and malaria diagnostic supplies were delivered to St. Anthony Health Centre. Earlier, 24 VHTs and local leaders were trained and 238 community members reached.
Read Update →HADEO has handed over the new girls’ changing room and incinerator at Ngora High School, with RC Ngora contributing cleaning materials to maintain hygiene.
Read Update →Davis & Shirtliff has completed installation of the solar-powered borehole at Agu Health Centre III, with support from the Ministry of Water. The tank stand, a 10,000-litre water tank and piping remain; UGX 3,800,000 is still needed before commissioning.
