Mental Health Initiative

Rotary Club of Ngora secured Global Grant GG2577896 - Mental Health Integration Project, valued at US$100,050, to strengthen mental-health services across Ngora District, Uganda.

With the Rotary Club of Denver Cherry Creek as International Partner and Fineminds as Implementation Partner, the project is officially underway, with health-worker training already commenced. The contribution requirement has been fulfilled and confirmation of funds has been received from international partners.

Mental Health Project

Global Grant GG2577896 is officially underway, with health-worker training commenced to improve access, strengthen facilities, increase awareness, and reduce stigma across Ngora District.

Malaria Project

24 VHTs and local leaders trained, 560+ mosquito-repellent seedlings distributed, and 238 community members reached.

Dignity for Girls

Construction of a UGX 10,192,900 changing room and bathroom facility started at Ngora High School.

Agu Solar-Powered WASH

Borehole drilling is complete. UGX 6,000,000 has been received from the Ministry of Water, with UGX 6,398,770 still needed.

Cancer Run

Centenary Bank partnership activated kit distribution, with school and community mobilisation underway.
